A tale of declining standards and profit before service. We've stayed here maybe 5 times. The last time will be the last. The good- the location and the rooms are a decent size and well equipped*(we've had studios and 2 bed apartments). They have great beds too. As 3 star accomodation goes it used to be pretty good. The bad: The street is fairly noisy and the apts dont have great sound proofing. But now they have unmanned access, they've removed the laundry facilities. Unmanned doesnt sound too serious, but now you have 2 PINS to remember, and you can't leave bags behind if you have a late flight on check out day. Unmanned also means there is no one to help if the lift breaks as it did for us. We were locked out of our floor for almost an hour when the second lift broke. There was no available alternative and it was clear the number we called had no clue about the buulding layout. Used to be good. Now not so much.

This is a great place to stay, good location, has everything you need with parking, but I would recommend you don’t stay here, the hot water in shower is either extreme hot or cold, so you are going to have a cold shower. Reporting this does not get you anywhere. Then the process to enter the hotel is one mission to be noted, 3 different codes with an essay on how to enter. Further issue is if someone parks in your allocated parking, and you call them in Sydney, there’s nothing that they could possibly help you with. I have stayed in lots of different places, this one proved to be a challenge.

Great room! Very happy to have had a coffee machine. Two fire alarms went off during our stay which was mildly annoying especially at the hours of the night

*BEFORE BOOKING READ THIS*
There are no on-site staff at this hotel. That means check-in is completely online (which involves taking a selfie with ID), there are no staff to assist with any issues, queries or requests while you are there, and they are difficult to get hold of at short notice. If you are comfortable with that uncertainty, enjoy. If you are not, steer clear. All-round difficult experience for me, won't be booking here again.

Loved the stay but the City Mart convenience store below has made multiple sexual comments towards my two young daughters, they’re booth teenager so it’s a bit weird. I’ve also found that they are really rude whenever I’m wearing my pounamu so I’ve just stopped wearing it.
