A tale of declining standards and profit before service. We've stayed here maybe 5 times. The last time will be the last. The good- the location and the rooms are a decent size and well equipped*(we've had studios and 2 bed apartments). They have great beds too. As 3 star accomodation goes it used to be pretty good. The bad: The street is fairly noisy and the apts dont have great sound proofing. But now they have unmanned access, they've removed the laundry facilities. Unmanned doesnt sound too serious, but now you have 2 PINS to remember, and you can't leave bags behind if you have a late flight on check out day. Unmanned also means there is no one to help if the lift breaks as it did for us. We were locked out of our floor for almost an hour when the second lift broke. There was no available alternative and it was clear the number we called had no clue about the buulding layout. Used to be good. Now not so much.

This is a great place to stay, good location, has everything you need with parking, but I would recommend you don’t stay here, the hot water in shower is either extreme hot or cold, so you are going to have a cold shower. Reporting this does not get you anywhere. Then the process to enter the hotel is one mission to be noted, 3 different codes with an essay on how to enter. Further issue is if someone parks in your allocated parking, and you call them in Sydney, there’s nothing that they could possibly help you with. I have stayed in lots of different places, this one proved to be a challenge.

Really wish I had read reviews before booking this place but I needed somewhere that allows dogs. First red flag was then emailing asking for an ID verification and the camera wouldn’t work even after following their instructions for pop ups. Had to use the chat to get help and they said email Support. I did that with the photo they requested but had no response. Assumed i could sort it out at the hotel if there was an issue but lo and behold there is no reception. You just phone a number. They made me email my id 3 times and didn’t receive it. After 23 minutes on hold their hold music ran out and the phone call disconnected. Gert didn’t ring back to check what happened. Rang them again and spoke to someone else who suggested emailing from a different account. I did this and it worked. We had now been standing in the lobby for over 30 minutes and were 20 minutes late to a restaurant reservation. The bin men emptying glass on a Saturday morning was not a welcome wake up call either. I would not recommend this hotel and won’t stay here again.

Absolute nightmare checking in - no one at reception, they didnt send the check in details, we spent hours trying to find someone to help the number for Urban rest didn't connect to a person - absolute nightmare nearly had to find somewhere else after booking the penthouse suite, after a few hours we managed to get hold of someone to get the check in details, the next day there were guests checking in exactly like us the day before - stressed trying to get hold of someone ... an absolute nightmare.. the room wasn't serviced during our stay so we had 1 towel each for the duration of our stay 5 days and the dryer didn't work to try wash them... Pool and gym closed for maintaince (prob because no one on site to manage) but not told about it till you get there - the apartment was great but the service is absolutely disgusting! The carpark underneath had people (homeless) sleeping in there which wasn't pleasant having to walk quite a way through it to hotel.

*BEFORE BOOKING READ THIS* There are no on-site staff at this hotel. That means check-in is completely online (which involves taking a selfie with ID), there are no staff to assist with any issues, queries or requests while you are there, and they are difficult to get hold of at short notice. If you are comfortable with that uncertainty, enjoy. If you are not, steer clear. All-round difficult experience for me, won't be booking here again.
