I've just finished Marie's beginners sewing class and I can't recommend it enough.
Marie is incredibly talented and her teaching style is very practical - she doesn't just go through the motions, she shares real tips that actually come up when you're sewing at home. She takes the time to talk through things properly and answer questions, and you can tell she genuinely loves what she does. It never feels like she's watching the clock.
All the materials provided in the class are good quality, so you're learning with the right tools from the start.
She also helped me figure out which sewing machine to buy as a beginner - that kind of guidance is so useful when you're just starting out and have no idea where to begin.
What really stood out for me was how kind and generous she is. I had a mishap with my sewing machine outside of class - a needle got stuck inside it - and Marie helped me sort it out straight away. That kind of care goes beyond what you'd expect from an instructor.
I'm already looking forward to going back for more classes. If you're thinking about learning to sew, Marie is the one to learn from.

An overall fantastic experience all round! This is a great environment to learn a new skill and have fun doing it.
I attended the beginner sewing course and am stoked with the professionalism, quality and value I received. I was supplied a machine and all the things I needed to make the project. The tutoring was very in depth and I look forward to further lessons! 10/10 would recommend!

Maria helped me make a bespoke fitted suit for a wedding. Her knowledge of pattern making, skill in fitting and mastery of sewing meant it was a fun and stress-free process from start to finish. The final product was fabulous.
