I’m giving three stars because of our mixed experience staying at the QT twice in
February.
We enjoyed our first stay. The room was nice - very clean. Double sinks in the enormous bathroom were great. The hotel staff were very helpful.
For our second stay, we were put in room #120. It was a bigger room with a smaller bathroom - only one sink. That’s okay. The black tile in the shower however was covered in a white something - perhaps soap scum? It should have been cleaned. The entire room is decorated in wall mirrors - even the bathroom. (I don’t need mirrored walls next to the toilet)
The worst part was the smell. After we questioned a front desk staff member about the (loud) periodic blast of scented spray from a device, he admitted that the room had a sewer problem. The spray was to cover it up. It wasn’t doing that. No offer to move us, or reduce the price of the room (which was more expensive than our first stay) was made. By this point we’d already gotten settled, and we didn’t plan on being in the room much anyway.
We told the front desk staff about our disappointment in the room at check out.
It’s a great hotel. Wonderful service. Such interesting artwork everywhere.
They just shouldn’t put guests in #120 until the sewer problem is fixed. And maybe change the mirrored decor.

Spent 2 nights, Dec 25&26th, in a Harbour view room. Room 436, was light bright and stylish. Plenty of space, with comfy chair & side table and a desk set up. The room and balcony artwork was amazing. Great view and balcony. Awesome bathroom with large tub and great amenities including super soft robes, Dyson hairdryer even bath salts for the huge tub. All the staff we met were great as was the food we sampled.
I had some trepidation after reading some reviews but it was just great and the hotels art collection is amazing. I am looking forward to my next stay.

Stayed here last night in the harbour view king room….hotel bar is great! Lobby great!
Rooms tired. Pool and spa area tired. Don’t expect any jets from the spa pool.
The staff in general are wonderful.

Here for a one night stop over before catching the ferry. Parking isn't explained that well before arriving. A couple of choices, their valet at $50 or public through the hotel at $30 as we were leaving very early chose the hotel choice. Room was comfortable but as a previous review stated it did smell unfresh. Also we had white marks on the shower tiles, soap I presumed. Unfortunately there was no hot water until after 9pm. Despite these little things we loved the location of the hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly. Bed was super comfy with lovely linen. The shower was a double one! Very powerful which was nice.

We stayed last week for a conference. I could not say enough about how excellent the staff were specifically Angus who helped us with our broken down car. The man at the front desk was also fantastic. The rooms were great and the food was delicious.
